Portland Marathon 2014 Affiliate Charity

The Portland Marathon has a long history of participation in the community and charity contributions. Last year, A Butterfly's Touch co-founder Larry Wheat and Krissy Krotzer, a young lady with Trisomy 18, ran the Portland Marathon Half together to raise awareness for Trisomy disorders and raise funds for SOFT and A Butterfly's Touch.

This year, A Butterfly's Touch has joined on as an Affiliate Charity in support of the Portland Marathon and Marathon Half. Krissy and Larry will be running the Half Marathon again this year...only this time, they'll be sporting Krissy's new wheels - a custom push chair purchased with donations from a whole lot of amazing supporters!

This also means that THIS year...YOU CAN HELP!

How you ask? Great question! Well, are you a runner looking for a great organization to support? Are you looking to sign up for the race after all of the general entries are sold? Would you be willing to raise funds for this amazing charity in exchange for a FREE race entry?!

Then you're in luck! A Butterfly's Touch is again raising funds to help continue providing support to parents suffering infant loss. We can only do this with your support. By partnering with the Portland Marathon, A Butterfly's touch is able to provide FREE marathon or half marathon entries to individuals willing to contribute or raise funds.
